10 billionth iTune sold. How many did you buy? Apple's iTunes has sold its 10 billionth tune.

Apple said Thursday that its online music store crossed the threshold Wednesday when 71-year-old Louie Sulcer of Woodstock, Ga., bought "Guess Things Happen That Way" by Johnny Cash.

iTunes had promoted the 10 billion mark and celebrated the milestone by giving Sulcer a $10,000 iTunes gift card.

Introduced in 2003, iTunes became the top overall music retailer in the U.S. in 2008.

iTunes is so famous. But I never even imagined they would sell 10 BILLION songs!!!!!!!! But the guy didn't even enter in anything, so he is the luckiest person on the earth. CONGRATS!

Dude if I had that many itunes I would buy 500,000,000 songs and 500,000,000 movies/games too. That would be so cool and I would give some of them to my friends.

Ten billion songs. That is a lot of music. I wonder how many people have downloaded i tunes because I have only bought fifty songs.

I have bought almost 400 songs on mine. Whoever else doesn't have itunes I will just say this- get it. It is so amazing, like me.

That is a lot of songs! I have no where near that much, I have like... 71 songs. That is only because my computer deleted all my previous songs. But, that's cool that you spend 99 cents for one song and get a itunes gift card for $10,000.

i find this very interesting. This is because i love music and love to get new music. In my personal itunes library i have 7000 songs. not anywhere near 10 billion. i find that number of songs amazing. i also would of loved if i could of won the 10,000 dollar itunes gift card. i would have been very happy if that was me . but i am also happy for the old lady
