Michael Ward added 15 points for the Patriots, who will put their three-game win streak on the line at Crosby-Ironton in the semifinals Saturday.

Jordan Riewer added 19 points for Staples-Motley and Derek Wolhowe finished with 13 as the Cardinals won their fifth straight game.
The Cardinals, 22-5, will face No. 3 Breckenridge at Minnesota-Morris Saturday.

"We needed to shoot the ball well tonight, and we didn't," Wolverines coach Tom VanErp said. "They shot 60 percent for the game and we shot around 30. They played a good game, and beat us down the floor in transition."
