Does dissecting make you say ewww? Tween Tribune reports that learning about the biology of a fish may no longer require you to dissect one!

That's just what Japanese scientists hope will be the case with a see through goldfish. The goldfish, called the "ryukin" goldfish, were bred to have no pigment or coloring. You can see its organs through its translucent skin and watch as its different organs work. Wouldn't it be cool to see its beating heart or see its working brain?

Crazy, crazy, crazy. What a different idea. I really don't like learning about the insides of certian animals. That would make my life better if this would accualy happen.

Dissecting is not really disgusting is pretty cool to look at the organs . Some people think is digesting but really it isn't . But is kind of sad because you killed a fish so is sad . But it doesn't make me say ewww .

That is not gross. When you feed the fish it will be awsome. When you see the food in the fish in his belly it will be cool.
Also I have one of the fish so its not gross.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Dissecting doesn't make me say eeewww. It's actually kind of fun. But seeing a fish without killing it makes it even better. It makes even better because it can help you understand better. I wish we could look at this fish at my school!! That would be awesome to have!!! :)

I think that this is a great step forward in science, as it no longer includes teaching people that it is essentially "ok" to kill things, no matter how small, just to see how they work. If the concept of learning anatomy can be taught via a live subject, then it should. As a bonus, you would actually get the opportunity of viewing the organs in action, as opposed to just the basic layout. Isn't that better for everyone involved?

I find disecting to be intreging, and a very educational experience. I hope teachers will allow more disecting, in the future. However, I also wish teachers would decrease on disecting insects.
