Former Brainerd High School hockey players Emily Brink (class of 2008) and Ellie Whiteman (2009) will play for the College of St. Scholastica in the American Collegiate Hockey Association Women's Division II national tournament this weekend at the National Sports Center in Blaine.

St. Scholastica will upgrade women's hockey to varsity status beginning with the 2010-11 school year and will become members of the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association.

The Saints won the Division II national championship in 2007 and were runners-up in 2009.
