Lady Gaga sweeps awards in England Flamboyant chanteuse Lady Gaga swept the U.K.'s Brit Awards Tuesday, winning three categories.

Gaga collected awards for best international female artist, best international breakthrough act and best international album for "The Fame," and performed at the ceremony wearing a towering white wig and lace veil — complete with ornate lace eyebrows.

The awards are the British equivalent of the Grammys, with most winners selected by a vote of more than 1,000 industry members.

U.S. rapper Jay-Z also claimed an award, for best international male, during a ceremony at London Earl's Court arena. Other international nominees had included Bruce Springsteen, Eminem, Jay-Z, Michael Buble and Shakira.

British boy band JLS claimed an award for best domestic breakthrough act, while recently split rockers Oasis won a one-off prize when their "(What's The Story) Morning Glory?" was named best British album of the last 30 years. Kasabian were named best British band.

Prince Harry addressed the ceremony in a recorded video message, giving the show — which has sometimes taken a raucous turn in the past — a royal stamp of approval.

Harry, third in line to the British crown, praised the awards as a celebration of "all that is totally wonderful and unique about British music."

I can't believe that you won some awards you are awesome and I'm really proud of you because you are the best singer but I don't like those kinds of clothes because I feel like they don't look nice but that doesn't mean that I don't like your songs and your moves that you do for of the songs that are awesome. I think that you should the first person to be awarded because you are a really good singer , that's what I think about you so come on and always when you are going to sing believe in yourself always and never forget that you are the best at everything you do.You are my favorite singer always and I will never forget all your songs and moves.

Wow! I can`t belive that Lady Ga Ga won 3 awards she's an amazing pop artist. I think she should of won only 2 because sheis kind of a bad influence and now every pop star like Hannah Montana are trying to be like her. I would not blame Miley for wanting to be like her because she is good for a 30 year old Lady.

i love lady gaga some of her outfits are weird and some are cool i love her music also i think her fashion sense goes with her music but sometimes her fashion sense gets out of control like in the music video ''telephone'
