Marilyn

Marilyn: Andy Warhol's worship of Hollywood film goddesses began in his youth in Pittsburgh, where he pored over movie magazines and made copies of glossy fashion ads featuring starlets like Hedy Lamarr. In New York, his preoccupation with movie queens manifested itself most famously in his iconic portraits of Marilyn Monroe, which he began only weeks after her tragic death in August 1962.

I like her style and she is very famous. She is a very beautiful woman and she has alot of talents. She can be a role model to some and she can't be to some others.

i love Marilyn Monroe she was so cool when she was alive and now she is pretty cool so what is y i chose Marilyn Monroe

This is a really good picture. Some people really admire Marilyn. A lot of people would pay a lot of money for this. I would defiantly savor it

I think that this portrait of Marilyn really represents how she was a woman. She was empowering and she really left her mark on everyone that knew who she was, which was basically every American at the time and almost everyone now, too. This portrait depicts her as striking and bold, as she was

At the previous comment, I would like to say that Marilyn Monroe was a popular, American actress, singer, and model during the 1940's-1960's. She now shows young men and women that they do not need to be incredibly skinny or tall to be beautiful. And I completely agree, that it would be a lovely piece to hang up in my home.

this panting looks so cool even if i dont know who Marilyn is it stil looks prety i like the colors i would hang it in my house

That was really cool that the artist andy warhol just painted the painting of marilyn monroe Imean i would never be able to do that.

I think this was a great idea to make a picture of Marylyn Monroe because she is a very good actor and should have her own painting

I think the artist of this painting was trying to portray Marilyn as a colorful person instead of how people saw her being that icon that had an affair with the president John F. Kennedy. They were trying to show her nice, funny, and sweet side. Like, when she would act and sing.

I really like this piece of artwork. It's very colorful, original, and just very pretty. I'm a fan of Marilyn Monroe so, that is what made this picture "pop" out at me. I liked how the colors all seemeed to blend in with each other and the brightness of the pink looks very nice as well.

I love Marilyn Monroe; she is so inspirational. This piece of art reminds me of her quotes! It is so amazing! Also her beauty is so wonderful!
