Olsen Twins create clothes for Penney's Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are expanding their fashion reach.The sisters, entertainers and marketers have signed a deal with J.C. Penney Co. Inc. to launch Olsenboye, a junior brand that will be exclusive to the chain.

"Tweens tend to buy forward — as in products for older kids — rather than backwards," according to Ken Nisch, chairman of JGA, a brand development and retail design company.

Typically, celebrity designers are just a face, but in this case the Olsens are really involved in the design of the clothes. They really understand the customer and the craft. This is impressive because they don't have a background in marketing or design," he said.

Nisch hasn't seen the clothes but he's heard from those who have. They tell him the clothes fit beautifully. "They're pared down and not merely glitz and glamour, but instead they're really wearable."

According to Nisch, "the Olsens really have the pulse of the market."

okayyy soo i use to love them and watch all there tv shows and movies.. idk why but they were like the only thing i watched when i was 7..i still watch full house and mary kate is the little michelle on there she is soo funny.. i love when she says "you got it dude!":)

I think its great that there making clothes but I think they could probably do better then JCpennys . I mean theres nothing Rwong its just they could probably get there own store.

I haven't heard of the Olsen's in a LONG time! And I never knew that they even had a line of clothes! But I guess they have alot, But they already have alot of money so why do they need more than they already have? Well I guess I know the answer to that! They must like designing clothes.

What if I were to shop at Penney's. I would totally buy something and wear it.NOOOOOOOOTTTT!!!!!!!!!! The last time I shopped at Penney's, I didn't get my refund for a shirt that didn't even fit me and was a very nice shirt.

I think it's great that they are doing what they believe in and following their dreams. I cant wait to see their new line. I think it will be a big seller!
