The annual SMS track meet was held Wednesday, the 11th of May, at the High School football field. The track meet was open to all 6th, 7th and 8th grade students who wanted to compete. The meet was announced by Mr. O’Donnell and Mrs. Redmond and thanks to Mrs. Belonsik for organizing the event. During the track meet there were different activities such as: the 100, 400, and 800 meter, the long jump, the shot put, the high jump and the relay. All of the events gave students the opportunity to go outside get some fresh air and have fun cheering on or participating with their peers.
