The Masters

The Masters

Son of Man: Magritte painted it as a self-portrait. The painting consists of a man in a suit and a bowler hat standing in front of a small wall, beyond which is the sea and a cloudy sky. The man's face is largely obscured by a hovering green apple. However, the man's left eye can be seen peeking over the edge of the apple.

This is a very popular painting I can see with all the people commenting. I like the picture because the fruit is right in his face. The man is very mysterious and the apple in his face shows alot in the painting.

This is a strange picture, but it made me laugh hahahaha. It is an extremely good painting though. I like it. I like the fruit and how he put the hat on the man, its cool.

Whats up with the fruit? I wonder how René Magritte come up with the idea of the fruit and why he used the fruit to cover up his face.....

I agree... I don't really know what to think about this but it's kind of befuddling ;) It's cool.

befuddling =confusing (for meg)
