The Sayreville Middle School held there spring musical concert on Thursday the 16th of June at the high school. This event started at 7:00pm and ended around 9:20pm. During the concert there were performances by the Orchestra, the Beginning Band, the Intermediate Band and the Chorus. Some of the songs that were played were “Moscow, 1941” by Brian Balmages, “The Candy Man” by Leslie Bricusse and Anthony Newley, and “Midnight Sky” by Brian Balmages. The chorus songs included: “Gloria” by Marc Donnelly and “Don’t Stop Believin’” by Allen Billingsley. The Chorus was directed by Mrs. Malara and Mrs. Ruiz and the band is directed by Mrs. Campbell, Mr. Modero and Mr. Caruso. The concert was a success and congratulations to the performers and instructors for a job well done!
