Brainerd police issued a citation for indecent exposure to a 46-year-old man who was walking the streets naked. One caller reported seeing the man running down South 6th Street. He was also seen on Washington Street and was arrested at 4th and Front.

Protests against a possible joining of the Wise Road north of Brainerd by Gilbert Lake to the Johnson Road off 371 near Donnybrooke Raceway were aired at the county board. Purpose of the road is to allow traffic flow without having to go through Brainerd.

Paul Bunyan officially returned to his old Brainerd home yesterday, welcomed back by city and state officials and 4,000 old friends. In the voice of Don Brockman, Paul said he'd never again roam from his new home at Paul Bunyan Center, Highways 210 and 371.
