President Barack Obama's taste in music still tilts toward the classics of his childhood. But with the help of his younger aides — and his daughters — the president says his collection is becoming a bit more hip.
In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, Obama says his iPod has about 2,000 songs, including ones by Stevie Wonder, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones.
The president's personal aide Reggie Love has improved Obama's rap repertoire, introducing him to artists like Nas and Lil Wayne.
Obama also says his daughters, 12-year-old Malia and 9-year-old Sasha, are getting old enough to start sharing their taste in music with their dad.
The president says music is a great source of joy and solace in the midst of difficult days.

Good for Obama. But if Obama actually likes and listens to Bob Dylan and understands what he is talking about he would be a much different president than he is. Through his music Bob Dylan basically makes fun president and what he does. listen to masters of war this will be proven.
I think it's a good thing that Obama has this kind of music on his iPod. i think this because of how he can see this type of music in our eyes. On the other hand I don't want him thinking like a kid again. Everything would just collapse if he did. On the other hand it's a good idea to just listen to some music and relax sometimes.
I think it's good for him to have time for music.Everone should have a little music in their life,plus anyone can listen to rap music,including our president. I think it is awesome!!!!! Besides its also good that his kids are sharing their music with their dad so he can be a COOL dad.
I think its nun of my business. Honestly i do not care whats on his pod. i know whats on my pod and i dint care whats on his. I'm famous to ya know. But its still cool that he has time to LI SEN to something. thank you
It's cool how the President can still have a little time to relax and listen to music. Music actually helps people in certain situations. Like when I'm doing my homework, listening to music helps. Maybe it's the same situation for him, but just with important documents?

I am surprised that our president has enough time to listen to music. Even thought it isn't the greatest of music to me its cool to think like that. I wouldn't think that he has the time to listen to music when he is so busy. Shouldn't he be out working on something to help the economy. If he did that maybe they would not have as much time for music. I understand that he wants to listen to music and all but he needs to be working on our nation instead.
I Would So Wanna Know Whats On The Presidents Ipod , I Would See What He Listens To. Also The Videos He Watches And What He Uses!
Its interesting to know what's on his ipod, because we only know him as a busy president. I think its cool to see things about his personal life that only his closest friends and family would know. He has a taste in music I would have never thought he had.
Trust me i want to know what on Obamas iPod just to see what type of music or videos he likes, but i bet nobody gets on his iPod.
