Why do I have more than one username?

Each username is associated with one of your classrooms. You may log in separately to each classroom to manage the comments of students in each class.

However, if you have more than one classroom, you'll see the "Change Classroom" pulldown above the "For Teacher Links" after you log in. This pulldown allows you to manage ALL your classrooms without the need to log out and back in with the username associated with each classroom. You may use any of your usernames to access ALL your classrooms with the "Change Classroom" pulldown, or you may log in to each classroom directly.

Here's how it works:

1. Log in with ANY of your usernames.
2. Use the "For Teacher Links" to access "Comments awaiting approval," etc.
3. To manage a different classroom, select it from the "Change Classroom" pulldown, which appears directly above the "For Teacher Links."
4. Wait a moment to two for the screen to refresh, then the screen will display the name of the classroom you selected in orange on the right side of the page above the "Change Classroom" pulldown.

Each classroom has a unique name. You may manage the comments of the students in each classroom with your unique USERNAME associated with each CLASSROOM.

For example, when you login with the username "MarySmith-6" you can see the students and comments associated with the classroom "Mrs. Smith - 6th grade English."

Each username contains a designation which identifies the classroom it is associated with, to make it easier for you to remember. And all your passwords can be the same, so you only have one password to remember, regardless of the number of classroom(s) you use.
