Daniel Radcliffe is Harry Potter no more Daniel Radcliffe has attended a premiere for "The Woman in Black," his first movie role since the final Harry Potter movie was released last year.

Radcliffe, who is known to most movie-goers as the boy wizard Potter, says it felt "very natural" to move away from that character and start the next phase of his career.

The 22-year-old plays a widowed father and lawyer in the film adaptation of the Susan Hill's gothic ghost story, one of the longest-running plays in London's West End.

Nonetheless, many of Radcliffe's fans lining the red carpet at London's Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday greeted him with Potter books and other memorabilia to be signed.

Radcliffe attended the premiere with his co-star, British actress Liz White, who plays the title role.

I loved the Harry Potter books they are one of the best books and movies EVER!!!!!!!!! But it's also good for actors to do other movies. Daniel Radcliffe will always be Harry Potter but he can be more than that. I'm so sad that Harry Potter is over but he is a great actor and his career will go far.

I think it's good that he is doing other movies since there won't be any more Harry Potter novels. I would probably have been one of the people alongside the red carpet with a HP book. I wish I was old enough to see his new movie because it sounds really good. I can't wait to see what he does next. He sure has grown up.

Daniel Radcliffe was good in Harry Potter. But Daniel Radcliffe was in The Woman And Black. Know I have seen trailers for this movie and it looked like it was going to be an okay movie to go see. And according to people that went and saw this movie they said it was an okay movie and a little creepy. But Daniel Radcliffe I hope you star in another good movie soon.

I think for being in a movie other then Harry Potter he did a really good job. I saw this in theaters and I was surprised how good and suspenseful it was. I'd recommend it to a friend.

I absolutely love Harry Potter! All of J.K Rowling's movies are great! I think that it is very ambitious of Daniel Radcliffe to go on and do another movie in such a short amount of time! I will give him props for going right back out into the movie world and try to do something different. I saw the trailer for the Women in Black. When I saw the trailer I begged my mom to go. She said yes after she did a little bit of research but, unfortunately we never got a chance to go. I hope when it comes out on the TV I will be able to rent it and watch it over and over again. I hope that the movie turns out GREAT!

I saw the woman in black, and it was one of the most frightening films I've seen in years. It made me forget all about Harry Potter. Daniel Radcliffe is an amazing actor.

i never partically liked daniel radcliff but Harry Potter is in my top 10 movie series. i am sad there wont be any more Harry Potter but its time to move on.

I think it's very sad that the Harry Potter movies are over. But I can't wait for the Woman in Black! I read the book and chills went up my spine. I just hope that Daniel is ready to move on and make this movie the best one he ever made, besides Harry Potter. :)
