'Twilight' author Meyer has new book on the way Attention "Twilight" fans: Stephenie Meyer has a new book coming out.

Little, Brown Books for Young Readers will release "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner" on June 5.

The novella is told from the viewpoint of Bree, a newborn vampire featured in "Eclipse." That's one of the books in Meyer's best-selling teen-vampire saga.

Meyer says in a statement Tuesday the novella had originally been planned for "The Twilight Saga: The Official Guide." But she says it became too long to fit into the guide.

The publisher says one dollar for each book sold in the U.S. from the first printing of 1.5 million copies will be donated to the American Red Cross International Response Fund. It supports disaster relief efforts such as those in Haiti and Chile.

I think that she should write what happens after her last book because I want to know what happens with all the people in the book like with Jacob and the little girl or Edward i want to know about Bree but i want to know about them.

I think Breaking Dawn is going to be the best out of them all! The book is better than any of the others. Eclipse is my second favorite then so on. I love Twilight, but I really wished she would've published "The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner." I bet it is a good book like the others.

I think she should come out with midnight sun because the twilight saga is AMAZING!!!! Whoever put the book on the website shouldnt have done that but she could come out with a newer version of midnight sun!

This seems like it would be a good book.Bree,after all, was one of the newborns in Eclipse that got killed by the Volturi.So,maybe we should see what her experience in Twilight was before she died.Hmm,who knows.I guess we'll find out if it's good or not when it comes out.

The author's purpose in writing this article is to inform readers. The author is informing us by stating that "there will be a new book coming out." I agree with the authors point of view because The Twilight Saga books are the most interesting books to read. After reading this article I would like more information about how much the book will cost.

I love the series of Twilight! It's really good! I read the comic kind of book of Twilight it was good but, I have to say I like the movies better. I can't wait to see Breaking Dawn! I like Eclipse the most right now, but I bet Breaking Dawn will be the best out of the series!
