Tween Justin Bieber fans lose control at mall
New York police shut down a mall appearance by teen pop singer Justin Bieber (BEE'-ber) after thousands of young girls showed up and got a little too wild. Nassau County police say girls and adults in the crowd of nearly 3,000 started pushing and shoving as they waited for the 15-year-old sensation to arrive Friday at the Roosevelt Field Mall in Garden City.
Five people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries.
Police arrested a vice president from Bieber's record label, Island Def Jam Records. They say he wasn't cooperating with attempts to disperse the crowd. Some fans had camped out overnight for the event. Bieber never made it into the building. He told WBLI radio that police turned him away.
Bieber's debut album, "My World," was released Tuesday.

I think that is kind of sad because Justin bieber needs some space and privacy. It is kind of hard Being a teen sensation. Just so you know I like Justin bieber and I would do anything to meet him!!! I love his songs. the new song Boyfriend just came out and it is AWESOME!!!! I watch the boyfriend teaser all the time.

If thousands of girls camp overnight just to see Justin Bieber go shopping at a mall, I don't see how Justin Bieber can go anywhere without being attacked by an army of girls. Five of them were even taken to the hospital and after all this, he didn't even get to go in.

The police wouldn't let him go in the building because it was crazy.I think that is scary to have 3,000 fans pushing and shoving in the mall just to see him.
Justin Bieber is the best. he is cute and a good singer, so I think he deserves to be famous. he worked hard for his role and he got it. lots of guys in my grade (I'm not naming names. :)...), can't stand Justin Bieber. I like him. Again... he deserves it.

You know what why did Berber ever have to be a singer anyway as this other girl was saying why did Berber have to be a singer or anything? I mean he can be pretty cute and all but why did he have to go to the mall where he knew that tons of people were going to be at? I mean really even when there are girls there that will tear him to shred's! So maybe next time he will learn not to go to the mall where a lot of girls will be.
