Baby gibbon born in Bronx Zoo
The primate was born to parents Christine and Milton at the Wildlife Conservation Society zoo.
Zoo officials say it is the first to be bred at the zoo since 2000.
It's the first offspring for the father and the 11th for the mother. The baby's gender has not been determined and it does not have a name yet.
It was born on Nov. 24.
They are part of the zoo's Jungle World indoor rainforest habitat.
Gibbons are endangered by deforestation and hunting in Vietnam, China and Laos.
